Low Dose Naltrexone for Cancer
How to Get LDN
The best place to start is
with your doctor.
Do your research and print out information that will help you make your case that this is a cheap, approved drug that has zero side effects at the tiny dose that is used for treatment of Cancer. This works well for many.
If your doctor will prescribe LDN, it will typically be in the form of compounded capsules. Not all pharmacies have experience compounding LDN and some will simply crush tablets and mix that with filler to make the desired amount. We are dealing with such tiny fractions that this is a very poor way to produce the capsules. For this reason, if you get a prescription for compounded LDN, we suggest that you get it filled at Skip's Pharmacy in Florida. They not only have the most experience in compounding LDN, possibly in the world, but are staunch advocates for LDN and all the wonders that it does. Dr. Skip or his associates are always available to talk to your doctor with advice and suggestions. Check out his speech at the LDN Conference in 2009. This is Part One.
If you get a prescription for compounded LDN, you might want to start not with 4.5 mg capsules, but with three times as many 1.5 mg tablets, so that you can adjust your dosage, if you find it necessary. This is still cheaper than most co-pays even if you have to pay for it yourself.
If you cannot get a prescription from your doctor, LDN is available over the internet at this pharmacy, for instance: NaltrexoneRx.com. Ten tablets, which will easily last at least six months, run less than $100, or $18 per month, which is less than most co-pays, and it comes typically within a week. No prescription is needed if you are not a resident of Mexico.
